Abstraction by Michael C. Pavao Colored Pencil on paper Michael C. Pavao met Richard E. Schiff at the Art Students League of New York in 1965. They were both students of Will Barnet and others. They held their first two man show at Upsala, followed at Avanti Galleries, then Gallery 55 in Brooklyn. They showed in New York City in 1991 together with 9 other former Barnet students at Gilford Gallery in Chelsea. Their last show was in 1991 at the Robert Baum Gallery. Both artists held individual One Man Shows at the Jewish Community Center in Deal NJ in 1991. |
